About the event and our project [the above-mentioned Cause ;)]

Join us on April 29th at 20:00 at Teatro (KABUL à GoGo) in Utrecht for a night of live music and great vibes, all in support of our 2026 project Greening Kalobeyei in Kakuma refugee camp, Kenya. 

🌳Energy for Refugees Utrecht will build a PV system to power a borehole that will supply water to Kalobeyei refugee settlement in Kenya, one of the largest in the world. There, water will be used by a mushroom farm and a bio-char facility to increase their production, generating food, income and alternative fuel to wood.

rijstepappa is an Utrecht-based DJ and producer who weaves through the deeper sides of Dub and Detroit inspired house, breaks and techno. With a sharp ear for groove and an instinct for atmosphere, his sets are an invitation to move, creating immersive journeys through soundscapes and rhythms that feel both grounded and exploratory.

Utrecht-based DJ Jacobus knows as much about his upcoming set as you do. With a mix of Italo, house, and electro, his sets are full of surprises that will have you Shazaming more tracks than recording videos. Inspired by artists like Soulwax, Malou, and MURW, he guarantees a great night of music.

Mocrosoft is a DJ exploring the deeper side of house, drawing inspiration from the roots of Chicago, Detroit, and New York. His selections focus on music that builds belief — grooves that move both body and mind. Expect deep, soulful sounds driven by warm low-mid rhythms, subtle textures, and hypnotic swing. It’s house music that reminds you to trust yourself and stay locked into the groove.
